I am a self-taught, New Jersey-based fine art photographer and exhibitor passionate about capturing and sharing the beauty of ordinary things. After a fulfilling 20+ year career as a natural products scientist, I turned my attention to the more “right hemisphere” pursuit of photography, capturing and revealing the uniqueness of often overlooked things in my environment. I enjoy exhibiting my work and am open to exhibition opportunities.
Some of my images feature close-up views of everyday objects and creatures in our homes, yards, and parks. While “nature-up-close” is a common theme in my work, I also embrace the challenges of capturing any subject, including grand landscapes and cityscapes, in ways that reveal something new to the viewer.
I developed my photography and digital art background with in-person & virtual classes, critiques, workshops, and learning from practical experience and the general photography community.
